Ilene Munk to Present at CLM Southeast Conference “Consumer Product & Appliance Failures: Manufacturer vs Consumer”

Foley & Mansfield announces that Ilene M. Munk will be presenting at the CLM Southeast Conference on October 4, 2019 in Kissimmee, Florida.

Munk will present on “Consumer Product & Appliance Failures: Manufacturer vs Consumer” along with Gregory Vacek, Chubb; Brian Eves, Mintzer Sarowitz Zeris Ledva & Meyers, LLP; and Timothy Tresierras, ARCCA, Inc. The panel will cover primary causation and subrogation issues, including case studies involving consumer products. Ms. Munk will discuss product failure analysis in the context of natural disasters and the role of the Stafford Act in emergency response.  

Ilene Munk is the managing partner of the Portland office of Foley & Mansfield and leads the firm’s national environmental practice group.  Ilene is an experienced environmental defense attorney with nearly 30 years of experience in Superfund and contaminated property matters. Her experience includes hazardous substance release investigation, allocation, remediation and Brownfields redevelopment.
